	FREN-F 101  ELEMENTARY FRENCH 1 (3 CR)

        Students who have prior Foreign Language training (including native
        speakers and those who have studied the language in High School)
        should take the IUSB Foreign Language Placement Exam before
        registering for their first IUSB Course in that language.  However,
        students who have completed one or more college courses in that
        language may register directly for the next course in that language.

        All students in Foreign Languages may be required to spend up to 1
        hour per week in the Language Resource Center.

        It is recommended that only students with a grade of C- or better
        register for the next course in the sequence.
