Term codes have four digits which can be separated into three parts. The first digit represents the century value (3 = 1900's, 4 = 2000's). The second two digits are the last two digits of the calendar year. The fourth digit represents the semester (2 = Spring, 5 = Summer*, 8 = Fall).

Example of Term Code for Fall 2005

Sample Term Codes:

4068 = Fall 2006

4072 = Spring 2007

4075 = Summer 2007

4078 = Fall 2007

4082 = Spring 2008

4085 = Summer 2008

4088 = Fall 2008

*From summer 2005 on, IU South Bend has a single summer term represented in the fourth digit of the term code by "5". Prior to summer 2005, IU South Bend offered two separate sessions. For these terms, codes are "4" for first summer, and "6" for second summer.
