Welcome to Indiana University South Bend Titan Athletics! We are a Division I NAIA Institution with Men's and Women's Varsity Basketball. It is the mission of the Office of Athletics and Activities to serve the entire community, but primarily the students, by teaching skills to achieve and providing opportunities to experience success in developing healthy lifestyles in harmony with the university's commitment to learning. The mission will address the whole person incorporating the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of the individual. |

End of the Year Honors
Tyler Leighton was named to the NAIA Division I All-America Basketball Team as a second team recipient. He also earned the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Division I Player of the Year and was a first team selection to the the All-Conference team.
Sophomore Katie Hacker and Freshman Lizzie Stapke earned first team CCAC All-Conference honors. Stapke was also named CCAC Division I Freshman of the Year.
CCAC 2008-09 Playoffs
In semifinal action, the IU South Bend women's basketball team ended the 2008-09 campaign losing to St. Francis, 80-71. Betsy Grogan scored a game-high 19 points while Katie Hacker registered a double-double chipping in with 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Titans.
