Purpose:
To provide parents a safe and nurturing place for their child or children while they are furthering their education or working outside the home. Our goal is for their child or children to develop a healthy sense of their own value and competence.  We also strive to develop, retain, and hire staff that is genuinely interested in the care and education of young children.  We know that their contribution plays a major role in the growth and development of each child we serve as well as the future strength and quality of the center.

Mission:
The Child Development Center is to provide families of IU South Bend students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community with a quality, child-centered program where children can view themselves as competent and capable learners as they grow and develop.  We also provide IU South Bend students with an excellent program where they can observe and learn appropriate practice and child development.

We want staff that is genuinely interested in the care and education of young children.  Our contributions play a major role in the growth and development of each child we serve, as well as to the future strength and quality of the center.
