The Child Development Center offers a warm, nurturing, child-centered environment and a rich, developmentally appropriate curriculum (High/Scope) that seeks to meet each child’s needs on all levels – social, cognitive, physical, and emotional. Our goal is to provide an environment that enables children to view themselves as competent capable learners.
We are licensed though the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, (IFSSA). We are required to meet their standards for staffing, discipline, health, safety, curriculum, equipment and materials, nutrition, records, and reports.
We provide services to toddlers (who are 12 months old, can walk independently and can drink from a “sippy” cup) through kindergarten. During the summer we also provide services to school age children from 6 – 9 years old.
Our teaching staff is educated, experienced early childhood professionals. Their knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice along with their strong foundation in child development allows them to provide high quality early learning experiences for each child.
