Prior to Admission to IU South Bend
Any student, prospective student, family member, faculty, staff, or interested community member may schedule an appointment to learn more about the services offered by the Office of Disability Support Services (DSS). All information is kept confidential unless specifically released.
Admissions Assistance
Prospective students are encouraged to contact DSS early in the admissions process with any questions or concerns and for assistance in tracking paperwork through the admissions office. Students taking the placement exams may request special testing accommodations. Students requesting this service must provide documentation of their disability prior to receiving this assistance.
After Admission to IU South Bend
The Office of Disability Support Services delivers a full range of support services to students with disabilities, providing equal access to the educational process. The following services are available:

Faculty Services
Limited assistance is also available for disabled faculty and staff. Please note that appropriate medical or professional documentation must be submitted prior to accessing services
