Interests
Currently, I am teaching First-Year Composition, W130, and completing my M.A. in English with a focus on creative writing. My interests include, but are not limited to:
creative writing, especially fantasy and science fiction;
fairy tales, particularly with regard to retellings and discussions of the societal meaning and impact of fairy/folk tales;
grammar, because correct usage is a dying art and that makes my inner child sad;
American Cultural Studies with a focus on race, gender, and religion; and
the internet and pop culture, perhaps more appropriately referred to as the internets, the intarwebs, or the series of tubes.
