You may be wondering if you are eligible for student financial aid. The only way to find out is to apply. It is a free and easy process and we are ready to help you every step of the way.

Applying for financial aid is a three-step process:

• Apply for admission to IU South Bend.
• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The paper form is available from the IU South Bend Office of Financial Aid or it can be completed online. Please note that IU South Bend's Federal School Code is 001816. The FAFSA or renewal FAFSA must be submitted annually by March 1.
• Complete the IU South Bend Application for Financial Aid available in the Information Center: Gateway to Excellence or from the Office of Financial Aid.
