In Amatlan, a beautiful village that we visited on one of our excursions in Mexico over the summer. All I can say is that, it was an incredible experience and definitely worth it!! In fact, I am going on the Costa Rica trip in the spring because I feel like the Mexico trip wasn't enough. I am minoring in Spanish and the sociology aspect of the course is very interesting. Anytime one can learn about other cultures and people by being in a different country and get away from the normal life here in the US is a fantastic learning experience.
