Used Computer Sale
We have changed the process for selling used computers. Rather than having announced sales once or twice a year, we will be offering computers for sale as long as they are available. As of December 8, 2008, the computers will be sold through the Barnes & Noble Bookstore on the IU South Bend campus on a continuing, as available, basis.
Here are the rules and regulations that must be followed.
- All equipment is sold as-is. These are used machines and may have minor scratches and dents. Computers were verified to be in working order before delivery to the bookstore.
- The sale is open to students, faculty, staff and the general public
- All computing equipment is sold on a first-come, first-served basis
- No support is offered
- No returns or refunds
- Only the original operating system is installed
- No delivery, installation or other service connected with the purchase is offered
- Only one computer per visit
- Prices are non-negotiable. A 7% sales tax will be charged.
- Purchase of this computer does not imply eligibility to purchase discounted software at Barnes & Noble Campus Bookstore.
- Equipment may not be purchased for resale
