Who's Who at IU South Bend
The Office of Student Life coordinates the IU South Bend nomination and selection process for the annual recognition of the “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges” program. For seventy years, this national program has annually honored outstanding campus leaders for their community and scholastic achievements.
To be eligible for nomination, students must be currently enrolled at IU South Bend as either a junior, senior, or graduate student in a degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Nominations must be completed by IU South Bend faculty or staff members and include the student’s full legal name, address, university ID number, year in school, cumulative GPA, major, and campus/community involvement. Also, please briefly state the strengths of the nominee that led to his/her selection. Nominated students will be contacted to verify and provide additional information.
Consideration for nominations should not be based solely on scholastic achievement, but should also take into account participation and leadership in co- and extracurricular activities, citizenship, service to IU South Bend, and potential for future achievement. Nominees will be considered for inclusion based on GPA and significant campus and community involvement.
The nomination process happens each academic year during the spring semester. Please check back for more updates during that time. If you have questions/concerns about this progress and/or program, please contact Sam Centellas at (574) 520-4587 or at sblife@iusb.edu.
