Master of Science in Nursing

Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist

Indiana University School of Nursing in Indianapolis in collaboration with Indiana University South Bend is offering a Master of Science in Nursing major that prepares Clinical Nurse Specialists in the Clinical Tracts of:

  • Critical/Acute Care
  • Oncology
  • Chronic Illness/Disability
  • Health promotion

The MSN Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist major is a 42 credit hour program.  The graduate courses in the major offer a wide range of advanced practice learning experiences in a variety of health care settings.  Many qualified individuals who are busy in a career -- or busy raising a family -- are now able to earn an MSN degree thanks to flexible programs that make many masters courses more accessible to students who live in the South Bend area.  Internet courses are expanding and specialty courses are taught on the same day, making it easier to organize busy schedules.
