Jerry H. Mohajeri will receive the Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna Award for 2004 from the School of Business and Economics of Indiana University South Bend. The award will be presented at the school’s annual Honors Day Luncheon on April 4 at IU South Bend. He was selected for the award because of his distinguished career of leadership and service contributing to the advancement of business and quality of life in Michiana.
Mohajeri is president and chief operating officer for MHM Associates, Inc., a South Bend consulting and engineering firm. He is a consulting engineer to local and state government agencies, school corporations and industry. He also has consulted with organizations in Korea, Canada and Mexico.
He has been the engineer of record on more than 150 projects. He is a registered engineer in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Maryland, Missouri, Georgia and Florida, and is developer of the Automated Road Imaging Applications, a ride quality measurement and imagining system.
Moharjeri received a bachelor’s of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri. He also earned a master’s of science degree in business administration and a master’s of business administration from IU South Bend.
