Craft to Receive Outstanding Service Award
Christopher L. Craft will receive the Dean’s Outstanding Service Award from the School of Business and Economics of Indiana University South Bend. The award will be presented at the school’s annual Honors Day Luncheon on April 4. He is being honored for his lifelong and dedicated service to the school.
Craft is vice president and senior relationship manger, Corporate Banking at National City Bank of Indiana in Elkhart. Prior to joining National City, he worked at National Bank of Detroit and 1st Source Bank. He is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) and certified cash manager (CCM). He is a South Bend resident.
A graduate of Penn High School, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in business management from IU South Bend. He has a master of business degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame.
Active in the community, he currently serves on the Elkhart Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the IU Alumni Association Executive Council, the IUSB Alumni Association Board, the IUSB School of Business and Economics Finance Advisory Board and Hoosiers for Higher Education.
He is past chairman for the IUSB Alumni Association Scholarship program, and a past member of the IUSB Business School Advisory Board.
Craft also volunteered with a number of service agencies and charitable organizations.
