There will be a Communications Career Workshop at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, in the Administration Building cafeteria, Indiana University South Bend.

The IUSB Communications Club is sponsoring the event to promote study in the field and provide information to students about the major. It also serves to provide interested parties with an inside look at potential industry careers.

The event will start with panelists representing a broad array of fields and experience levels, speaking about their respective career paths. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. Refreshments will be available.

The event will feature the following panelists:

Journalism: Bill Moor, Columnist, South Bend Tribune

Public Relations: Mandy Kinnucan, Account Executive, Villing and Co.

Graduate School/Speech: Professor Larry Lambert

Communications Internships: Professor Kevin Gillen

Career Services and the Job Market: Christine Richardson, IU South Bend

Career Services and Internships: Marilyn Devine, IU South Bend
