The candidates for mayor of South Bend will square off from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in Room 1001, Wiekamp Hall, Indiana University South Bend. Refreshments will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

The candidates: William Davis (D), Stephen J. Luecke (D), Juan A. Manigault (R) and Terry Miller (R) will discuss issues facing the city and respond to questions from audience members. Following the forum, the candidates will be available for one-on-one questions.

The evening is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the South Bend Area, and by IU South Bend’s American Democracy Project, Political Science Club, College Democrats and College Republicans.
