Proceeds from the event will benefit the Food Bank of Northern Indiana, Dismas of Michiana and Mulanje Hospital in Malawi, Central Africa. The festival features five bands: The Apes of Wrath, Ras Soul Jah, Hydro Reggae Band, Roots, Stem and Branches, and Pura Vida. There will be plenty of Caribbean food and craft vendors. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Dogs and coolers aren't allowed. The gate opens at noon and the show ends at midnight.

Tickets for South Bend Reggae Fest 2005 are $10 in advance and $12 at the gate and can be purchased between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Student Government Office in the SAC, room 202.
