The Indiana University South Bend Libraries’ Food for Fines program will continue through Dec. 17. Overdue fines from the Franklin D. Schurz Library and the Learning Resource Center can be paid with non-perishable food items.

Each non-perishable food item will equal $1 toward the payment of those overdue fees. All donations will be given to the Northern Indiana Food Bank. The food items can only be given as payment for overdue fine and not for damaged items or replacement fees.
