Ermeti has 15 years of experience in human resources. She previously worked at Transpo, where she was the director of administration.

She also worked at the Morris Performing Arts Center, the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ Ministry Center and Ancilla College and the Notre Dame Federal Credit Union.

She is a native of the area and a graduate of Mishawaka High School.
