Hiring Managers Tell Their Secrets
What makes a resume attractive? How do you prepare for an interview? Can you have the edge over other job candidates? Indiana University South Bend’s Career Service Office is sponsoring a panel discussion to give you a few pointers on the road to employment. “Hiring Managers Tell Their Secrets” will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb.8, in Room 225 of the Student Activities Center.
Six hiring managers from the world of banking, industry, accounting, services and higher education will share their knowledge. The panel will offer insights for job seekers on current trends in hiring, quality resumes and interviewing skills.
The panel members and businesses are: Terry Bush, director of human resource services for Kruggel, Lawton and Company, LLC; James Mendenhall, human resources representative for Fed Ex; Nancy Pietrangeli, human resources specialist for Atwood Mobile Products; Kris Urschel, manager of recruiting and employment operations; Dorrine Johnson, employment manger, Press Ganey Associates; and Chuck Ball, vice president/director of human resources, MFB.
Attendees may ask questions and network with the hiring managers following the panel.
