What makes a resume attractive? How do you prepare for an interview? Can you have the edge over other job candidates? Indiana University South Bend's Career Service Office is sponsoring a panel discussion to give you a few pointers on the road to employment.

"Hiring Managers Tell Their Secrets" will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, in Room 225 of the Student Activities Center, Indiana University South Bend.

Five hiring managers from the world of banking, industry, accounting, services and higher education will share their knowledge. The panel will offer insights for job seekers on current trends in hiring, quality resumes and interviewing skills.

The businesses that are sending representatives are: AM General, Kruggel, Lawton and Co., LLC; MFB, Oaklawn and the University of Notre Dame.

Attendees may ask questions and network with the hiring managers following the panel.
