A reception to honor this year’s 10 retirees from the faculty and staff of Indiana University South Bend was held May 12, in the Alumni Room of the Administration Building.

The professors who bid the campus a fond farewell were: Max A. Bailey, associate professor of education, who started serving the campus in 1997; Glenn F. Chesnut, professor of history, 1970; Michael J. Esselstrom, professor of music, 1967; Eleodoro J. Febres, professor of Spanish, 1975; Harold R. (Tuck) Langland, professor of fine arts, 1971; Eleanor J. Lyons, associate professor of English, 1972; Donald B. Marti, associate professor of history, 1966; J. Wesley Robbins, professor of philosophy, 1967; John P. Russo, associate professor of computer science, 1969; and Sandra Winicur, associate professor of biological sciences, 1970.
