This weekend Facilities at IU South Bend will be coordinating repairs to the damaged power lines and switches affecting Northside Hall. Since IT (informational technology) equipment is located in Northside, all IT data services, including dialup, network and campus office computers will be unavailable during the following times:
5 to 10 p.m., Friday, June 4 and
5 p.m. Saturday, June 5, through 7 a.m. Monday, June 7.
All IT systems will be live and available from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Saturday’s student orientation.
Northside and Riverside halls will close at 5 p.m. Friday and will reopen at 7 a.m. Saturday. There will be no power to these two buildings.
All buildings will be open Saturday.
Northside, Riverside and Greenlawn halls will be closed Sunday. There will be no power to these three buildings.
There will be normal business hours on Monday, June 7.
Campus phone service will not be affected by either power outage.
