A women’s conference will focus the roles and complexities of being a lesbian, bisexual or transgender woman from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, in Room 1001, Wiekamp Hall, Indiana University South Bend.
This is the fourth spring conference in the series that examines women’s issues.
As with past conference, area people have been invited to speak on the issues. Several people who are representing the different factors of diversity will give their personal perspectives on the issues and offer two or three questions for group discussion. Groups will then report back to the full session following a break out session.
Registration and breakfast will be from 10 a.m. to 10:20 a.m., followed by the panel introductions.
The event is sponsored by the Office of Campus Diversity, IU South Bend.
The event is free and open to the public; however a head count is needed for refreshments. Please RSVP for the event by March 22 by calling (574) 520-5535.
