Annual Math Competition Crowns Winners
A total of 136 students from eight area high schools participated on March 19 in the 26th annual South Bend Area High School Mathematics Competition at Indiana University South Bend. The competition is organized by the Department of Mathematical Sciences, IU South Bend.
Individuals and teams competed in four class levels: freshmen, sophomore, junior and senior. Trophies were awarded to the top five individual contestants and the first place teams in each class. In addition, awards were given to the three overall best individuals, and certificates were awarded to the best three teams in each class level.
