Federal Reserve Issues to be Addressed
The Indiana University South Bend School of Business and Economics will host a free seminar with Jerry Nelson, public affairs specialist with the Federal Reserve Bank, Chicago. The seminar will address issues with the Federal Reserve, the money supply and the national debt, and role of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation since the early 1980s.
The event will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 4 (2006) in room 223, Student Activities Center, IU South Bend.
Nelson handles media relations, visiting delegations of bankers from around the world, government officials, diplomats, and visitors from academia and industry.
The event is open to the public.
