Indiana University South Bend will be the site of a healthcare reform town hall forum at 4 p.m. Friday, June 8. The forum is one of nine that will be held across the state to provide information to the governor and Indiana Sate Legislature.
The forum will be in Room 1001, Wiekamp Hall at IU South Bend.
The Indiana Health Reform Workgroup will be seeking public comment on healthcare costs, the growing number of Hoosiers with no insurance or inadequate insurance, uneven quality of healthcare and what the public wants and what they are willing to pay for.
The group also will be asking opinions and thoughts on the future of the healthcare system and how should it work for Indiana in 2035.
The workgroup is comprised of experts from Indiana University's School of Medicine, Law and Public and Environmental Affairs.
