What are the issues facing African women? How can they contribute? What is their status in politics, economics, education and women’s rights? These topics along with others will be explored during a panel discussion at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, in the Alumni Room, Administration Building, Indiana University South Bend.
The panel will include speakers from Kenya, Malawi, Benin and Zimbabwe. The panel will be moderated by Kwadwo A. Okrah, assistant professor of education at IU South Bend. A question and answer period will follow the panel discussion.
The panel discussion is free and open to the public.
