County Officials to Meet the Community
Six public officials from South Bend and St Joseph County will participate in a Night Out discussion at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Indiana University South Bend. The evening is sponsored by the Criminal Justice Association (CJA) at IU South Bend and the Citizens for Responsible Government.
The event will be in the Administration Building cafeteria (The Grille).
This free and public event will give the members of the community a chance to interact with their public officials, ask their questions, and have their questions answered. The panel will include:
Peter Nemeth- Juvenile Justice Center Probate Court Judge
Ervin Kuspa- 6th District City Council Member
Michael Gotsch- St. Joseph County Circuit Court Judge
Michael Dvorak-St. Joseph County Prosecutor
Frank Canarecci-St. Joseph County Sheriff
Tom Fautz- South Bend Chief of Police
South Bend Mayor Stephen Luecke will be the moderator for the forum.
James Evans, chairman for Citizens for Responsible Government and the CJA invite the community to participate in this exciting night out with county officials. Snacks will be provided.
The CJA is an active student-run organization at IUSB committed to conducting activities that enhance student experience. The exciting and educational projects of the CJA throughout the years have provided students with resources, network with professionals, and ties with the community.
