The Michiana Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors will have a student night on Nov. 4, at Indiana University South Bend. All accounting and information technology students, faculty and internal audit professionals are invited to explore the job market, student career concerns and internships.
The event will begin with registration at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and speakers at 7:15 p.m. The dinner and presentations will be in the Associates Building, Ruskin Street.
The two speakers come from the world of accounting and investigations. The first speaker scheduled will be Mike Niedbalski, who is the senior executive recruiter for Creative Financial Staffing, Crowe Cizek.
The second speaker will be Fred Graessle. He is a certified public accountant and a special agent with the FBI who specializes in corruptions and white collar crimes. His keynote topic will be, “Fraud: The Public Wants Action; The Profession Has Opportunity.”
The event is sponsored by Teachers Credit Union, Coachmen Industries, Inc. PRI Audit and Control, CFS, Indiana University South Bend and the University of Notre Dame.
