Author Marshall J. Cook will discuss time management, procrastination, productivity and priorities from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, at the Student Activities Center, Indiana University South Bend.
The event is free and open to the public. However, there will be limited seating and interested individuals should call Catherine Coleman at (574) 520-4346 for a reservation.
Cook is the author of “Time Management” and 22 other nonfiction books and three novels. The list includes “Slow Down and Get More Done,” “Freeing Your Creativity” and “The 10-Minute Guide to Motivating People.”
His creativity and productivity led to an appearance on “Oprah.”
He edits “Creativity Connection,” a national newsletter, he writes articles and short stories for regional and national magazines and he is a columnist for “ByLine” magazine.
He has a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in communications from Stanford University. He is a professor of journalism in the Communications Department of the Division of Continuing Studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
This event is the Second Annual Managing in the 21st Century Distinguished Speaker’s Series.
