The public is invited to hear from the candidates for the seats on the South Bend Community School Corp. board. The panel discussion will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, in the second floor Alumni Room of the Administration Building of Indiana University South Bend. Registration will be from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served at registration.

Four seats are open for this fall – two at-large and one each in District 3 and 4. Fifteen candidates are seeking election.

The moderator will be Karen White, a former member of the South Bend School Corp. board of trustees. The candidates will have opening and closing remarks. They also will field prepared questions from White. The audience will then pose questions.
