The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences of Indiana University South Bend will have a series of programs in the upcoming months that will highlight different liberal arts and sciences majors and minors.
“Major in the Spotlight” is designed to help current and prospective students learn more about a major and related job opportunities during panel presentations by faculty members, alumni and current students pursuing the field of study. Members of campus recognized clubs related to the field also will be introduced.
A question and answer period will follow.
Each of the panel discussions will be free and open to the public and will be at 4 p.m. in the third floor bridge of Wiekamp Hall, IU South Bend.
The fall schedule for Major in the Spotlight is: Tuesday, Sept. 20, computer science and informatics; Wednesday, Oct., 19, philosophy; and Tuesday, Nov. 15, political science.
Three more panels are planned for the spring semester.
