The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk and competitive run will be Oct. 8 at IU South Bend. This is the second year the campus is welcoming runners, walkers, family, friends and supporters.

Opening ceremonies will be at 8 a.m. with the start at 8:30 a.m. Check the Website for information and forms at http://www.kintera.org/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=119905

Walkers should follow the links from Sign Up Here. Forms also are available on campus.

There is no fee for the walk. The entry fee for the competitive run is $20 and participants must register online by Oct. 6. Runners receive a t-shirt and chip timing.

Runners may pick up their shirts and chips from 6:30 to 8:20 a.m. the day of the race.
