Monologues to get Michiana angle
A community effort is under way to write and produce "Michiana Monologues," a local production modeled on the stage production "The Vagina Monologues."
The show will present stories written by local women to reflect their experiences of being female in the local community.
Three free public workshops are planned to help women write their own monologues to submit. They will be: 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 25) in the auditorium of Madeleva Hall, Saint Mary's College
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 6 in the Dickinson Room, lower level of the St. Joseph County Public Library, 304 S. Main St. in South Bend
2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 11 in Room 1185, Wiekamp Hall, Indiana University South Bend
