Laura Hieronymus was recently named director of the Health and Wellness Center at Indiana University South Bend. Her last position was with Oberlin College Student Health Service, Oberlin, Ohio. She served as a nurse practitioner and health services director there.

In addition to Oberlin College, she worked in family practice, occupational health and community health in Ohio and Indiana. She taught nursing at Marian College, Indianapolis, for a number of years.

Hieronymus also had hospital positions in Indianapolis, Ind.; Houston, Texas; New Iberia, La.; and West Lafayette, Ind.

She received an associate of applied science degree in nursing and bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from Purdue University; and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Indiana University
