SCHEDULE
For first time students
Orientation for incoming spring 2009 students is scheduled for
Friday, December 12 and Wednesday, January 7. Reservations will open in mid- to
late October.
For transfer students
If you are a transfer student, you may be able to register for
classes prior to orientation. Refer to the information below to
determine if you can register in advance:
Contact your academic unit for an advising appointment. If you
are not sure who to contact, call the
Office of Student Services at
(574)520-4270 or e-mail sborient@iusb.edu. Dismissal
times for transfer students vary depending upon the academic unit.
This information will be made available as part of the orientation
confirmation.
Orientation begins at 8:30 a.m. Review the information from your academic unit in the
Pre-Orientation Checklist to determine how long you need to be at orientation.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations for orientation are required and can be made by:
- Submitting the online reservation form.
- Calling the orientation phone line at (574) 520-4460.
- Stopping by in person at the
Information Center:
Gateway to Excellence, located in the main lobby of the Administration Building on the IU South Bend
