Step Two: Activate Your IU Computer Account

Go to onestart.iu.edu (If you are using a slower connection, you may want to use OneStart Lite.) and click on “Don't have an account?,” which is located in the big gray box on the left side of the page. Once activated, you will use your OneStart account to register for classes, check your placement exam results, view financial aid information, and much more.

When activating your account, you will be asked for your 10-digit student identification (ID) number. Refer to your admissions certificate or the the welcome letter from the Office of Student Services for this number.
