Pre-Orientation Checklist
Thank you for reserving your spot at orientation. We look forward to meeting you soon. If you missed the deadline to reserve for the final orientation on August 21, you can still register for classes. Contact your academic unit to set up an appointment to register for classes. Contact information for the academic units is below.

Registering for Classes
Most students register for classes prior to orientation. However, some register during or after orientation. Refer to the information below to determine when you will register for classes. If you are unsure which academic unit you belong to, contact sborient@iusb.edu or (574) 520-4460. If your major has changed since you submitted your application for admission, please contact the Office of Admissions at (574) 520-4839 or admissio@iusb.edu to update your records.
Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts
Fine Arts (visual arts), Mass Communications, Music, New Media, Speech Communication, Theatre and Dance.
Transfer students with 15 or more credit hours call (574) 520-4532 or email tmiller7@iusb.edu for an advising appointment. All other students will register for classes at orientation.
School of Business and Economics
Accounting, Advertising, Banking, Economics, Finance, General Business, Human Resource Management, Health Care Management, International Business, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
All students in the above majors can register for classes prior to orientation. Call (574) 520-4450 or (574) 520-4133 for an advising appointment. However, if you prefer, you may attend orientation first and schedule an advising appointment afterward.
School of Education
Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Undecided Education.
All Education students will need to set up an appointment with an education academic advisor to register for classes prior to new student orientation. Please call the Education Student Services office at (574) 520-4845 to schedule an appointment.
