CAMPUS VISITOR PARKING:
Eligibility: not a student nor affiliated with the University
in a capacity that qualifies for a parking permit.
Authorized Parking: campus visitors have the following
parking options:
· Purchase a
visitor permit at the Parking Services office located in room A123A in the
Administration building for $2.00.
· Use the gated
visitor lot located on Hildreth St. The gate requires $2.00 in quarters/dollar
bills or a token to exit. Tokens may be purchased ahead of time at the parking
office.
· Use one of the
visitor parking spaces in the visitor row located in the Administration building
west parking lot. There is a one hour time limit for use of these spaces.
· Use a metered
space, which are located throughout campus. The fee is $0.25 for 15 minutes, 2
hour maximum
Schurz Library -
Visitors to the Schurz Library may park
in the metered spaces located in the Purdue Technology parking lot just south of
the library, or in the campus visitor lot. Visitors may purchase a token at the
circulation desk for $2.00 to exit the visitor lot.
Student Activity Center –
Visitors to the Student Department personnel may
purchase a visitor permit, or tokens at the Parking Services office. Other
options include the visitor parking row in the Administration building west
parking lot, or metered spaces which are located throughout campus.
Special Event Parking:
Various athletic and academic facilities
on campus generate numerous events, which are open to the public and segments of
the community not normally associated with the University. Parking fees and
arrangements are based on a number of factors including but not limited to
location, day of week, nature of the event and number of activities taking place
on campus
