Recipient of: Shneidman Award, American Association of Suicidology (1990; for research and scholarly contributions to the field of suicidology by a person under the age of 40); Roger Tierney Award for Service, American Association of Suicidology (1999; for service to AAS and applied contributions to the field of suicidology)
