NSF Phone Number Changes
Due to the upgrade of our telephone system, NSF is changing all Area Code 703 phone numbers effective July 31, 2000.    NSF's Area Code 800 numbers
will not change.

Beginning July 26, the NSF staff and office directories will list both the current and new telephone numbers.  You will find this information at:

        http://staff.nsf.gov

Current NSF documents will be updated to reflect the new telephone numbers. However, not all older documents will be updated.  You may use the
directories above or, for a limited time, call the old number to obtain the new number.

Please call the NSF Information Center if you need special assistance in contacting NSF.  The current phone number is (703) 306-1234.  The phone
number effective July 31 is (703) 292-5111.

We appreciate your patience during this changeover.
