NSF Regional Grants Conference at Purdue
Purdue University will host the National Science Foundation Regional Grants Conference running Wednesday through Friday, October 11-13, 2000. Dr. Rita Colwell, National Science Foundation Director and other key foundation staff plan to be there to answer your questions.
     The conference includes sessions covering all aspects of the NSF proposal and awards process.
          - Proposal and Merit Review
          - Introduction to FastLane
          - Award and Administration
          - Challenges, Opportunities and New Directions
          - Breakout sessions by discipline

Financial Information System
The FIS will be down for one week this summer. This period will begin at 5:30 pm EST on Friday June 2, 2000 and will continue through Sunday, June 11, 2000. This is due to the switchover to the PeopleSoft software for Student Information and Human Resource systems (including payroll).
