NSF - Course, Curriculum, and Laboratory Improvement (CCLI) program seeks to improve the quality of Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Technological (SMET) education for all students and targets activities affecting learning environments, course content, curricula, and educational practices. The program has three tracks: 

1. Educational Materials Development (CCLI-EMD) 
2. Adaptation and Implementation (CCLI-A&I) 
3. National Dissemination (CCLI-ND)

Indiana University International Programs
Overseas Conference Fund - To provide partial support for travel expenses to an international conference held abroad where applicant will present a competitively selected or invited paper or perform some other important role.

Twenty-First Annual Faculty Scholars Program
This program supports promising post-doctoral (but pre-tenure, tenure-track) scholars from diverse disciplines. Priority areas are youth development; programs, policies, and institutions affecting young people, etc.

NSF - Developmental and Learning Sciences: A Multidisciplinary Competition
This initiative aims to support studies that increase our understanding of cognitive, linguistic, social, cultural, and biological processes related to children’s and adolescents’ learning in formal and informal settings.

00-7 New Assistant Vice President for Research
As of June 1, 2000 Steven A. Martin was appointed as Assistant Vice President for Research. All proposals are submitted in the name of Indiana University with the
exception of agencies such as the Lilly Endowment, which are required as a condition of eligibility to be submitted in the name of the Indiana University Foundation.

NSF Releases New FastLane Instructions
It has been nearly six months since all proposals to the National Science Foundation were required to be submitted electronically using FastLane. Now that the "kinks" have been worked out, NSF has released a comprehensive, 70-page guide on how to use Fastlane.
