Foundation - Kennedy Library
Research Grants Each year in the spring and fall, The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation provides funds for the award of a number of research grants in the range of $500 to $2,500. The purpose of these grants is to help defray living, travel, and related costs incurred while doing research in the textual and non-textual holdings of the library. Scholars and students are invited by the Kennedy Library and Library Foundation to apply for these research grants. |

Program Evaluation of Kellogg Fellows Leadership
Alliance - The W. K. Kellogg Foundation provided a three-year $1.64
million grant (expiring in June 2004) to the University of Maryland’s
Academy of Leadership to serve as the incubator for the first three
years of the Kellogg Fellows Leadership Alliance (KFLA).
As we move forward to becoming an independent organization in July 2004, an independent evaluation of the KFLA will provide a road map for developing the next phase of organizational growth. |

A revised version of the
NSF Grant Proposal Guide (GPG) (NSF 03-041) has be published. It will be effective for proposals submitted on or after June 1, 2003. This document supercedes all prior versions of the GPG and can be accessed at: http://www.nsf.gov/pubsys/ods/getpub.cfm?gpg. This revision implements a number of important changes to NSF policies and procedures.

IRB CERTIFICATION TESTING: In February 2002 the IUSB IRB decided that after July 1, 2002 no new protocols or continuing reviews would be accepted from investigators that had not passed the IRB Certification Test. IU has developed an on-line certification program that meets federal standards. If you plan to be involved in human subjects research at IUSB you should take this certification test as soon as possible at http://www.iupui.edu/~resgrad/Human%20Subjects/HumanSubjectsCourse.html .
