A more comprehensive list of current funding opportunities can be found on the IU Granstlink. You can also search for funding opportunities using keywords from COS.

03-2 Justification/Documentation of Cost Transfers The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) which has audit cognizance of all federal programs at Indiana University has always placed a high emphasis on the timeliness and justification of cost transfers.  Cost transfers continue to be closely scrutinized by state and federal auditors.  Additionally, there has been a renewed emphasis on the timeliness of cost transfers not only for direct costs to and from the account, but also for cost share expenditures.

03-3 A-21 Effort Reports The U.S. Office of Management and Budget Circular A-21 require personnel activity reports (effort reports) for employees who fit certain criteria.  To meet this requirement, Indiana University has chosen the after-the-fact method of accounting for effort which provides a record of the percent of effort committed to each project/account.

03-4 Accounting for Cost Share  This Important Notice is being reissued as there has been a change in the procedure to distribute cost share expenditures to the cost share sub-account.  Additional information regarding cost share can be found in OMB Circular A-110, section 23.
