It was decided to add a restriction to the Faculty
Research Grants and Curriculum Development Grants that the awardee must
continue to teach at IUSB the academic year following the grant award.
The committee will select exemplary proposals to
display on the Website for those looking for models.

Ranking System

The committee decided to use a consistent ranking
system for all proposals. Zynda distributed a sample ranking sheet.
Each committee member will rank proposals with an overall score of: 5 = Fund no matter what 4 = Favorable toward funding
3 = Fund is money is available
2 = Do not fund, but allow resubmission
1 = Do not fund, resubmission not recommended
