BOMB THREAT
The person receiving the telephone call should remain calm and obtain as much information as possible by using the Bomb Threat Data report on the reverse side.
Immediately call the University police department at 4239. Provide as much information as is available.
Notify your immediate supervisor after informing campus police.
If a suspicious package or device is found, immediately notify the campus police department. Do not touch or handle suspicious items.
A University administrator will be responsible for ordering the evacuation of any building.
If evacuation takes place, follow evacuation procedures and do not re-enter the building until authorized to do so.
If a bomb threat is received by written communication, immediately notify the campus police department at 4239. Do not handle the communication and surrender the document to police upon their arrival.
