3.5" Floppy Disk (A: Drive)
After doing any work on a project in any Microsoft Windows XP software, you will want to save your work. One type of media available is the 3.5" floppy disk. These disks allow you to work on it at home or in a different lab that has the same software and disk drives.

1. To save to your floppy disk, click the "File" tab to bring down this menu.

4a. This screen will pop up if you did not insert a 3.5" floppy disk into the computer, and your computer will be momentarily frozen. Simply wait for a couple of seconds. If this screen does not pop up, scroll forward to step 5.
