- Use the mouse to move the pointer to a place on the desired e-mail link
location and click to position the cursor there.
- Move the pointer to "Insert" at the top of the page, and click "Insert"—a menu opens down.
- Move down the menu that opens and click on "Hyperlink"—a box titled "Insert Hyperlink" opens.

- In the column at the left under "Link to:", down at the bottom, click the square marked "E-mail Address".

- At the top of the box, after "Text to display:", type the
desired display text.
It might be your name, or your e-mail address, or it might be something like “send e-mail” or “contact me.”
- On the next line of the box, under "E-mail address:", type the
desired e-mail address.
The program will insert "Mailto:" in front of the e-mail address, without any space. That
is what it should do.

- Click on the button labeled "OK" at the bottom of the box.
